“We find joy in aiding with the material and spiritual needs of the underprivileged.”
— Divine Blessing
Divine Hope Centers International Organization is a non-profit organization founded by Divine Blessing. A Swedish citizen born in Eastern DR Congo. Divine lived an agonizing life as a refugee in Africa -Namibia.
Divine Blessing is an abandoned woman that suffered a lot together with five children and pregnancy. She took a way together with her children without knowing the direction. Even worse without any documents nor money. Divine Blessing was very traumatized. She was homeless, helpless and restless. She crossed Tanzania, Zambia to Namibia. Divine together with her children were sleeping under the trees on the streets and eating from garbages. Many times, Divine was beaten by criminals and also raped although she was pregnant. Time and time again, Divine wanted to commit suicide due to all the traumas, pain and heartbreaks in life.
In her time of bitterness, Divine thought that God is not real and if He is real, he has forgotten her. As her sufferings intensified to a point that her and the children could no longer bear, Divine asked four things of God:
1. Lord, change my life and I will be giving hope to the hopeless
2. Lord, give my children daily food
3. Lord, give me a home address even a prison cell would do in my predicament
4. Lord, I want my children to be provided for with education
At last, Divine and her children found themselves in a refugee camp in Namibia. After horrific incidents, the UN sent her and her children to Sweden. Today Divine’s life has changed for the better and she is the CEO of Divine Hope Centers.
Hope Centers with the sole focus on caring for women and children in dire need of help and support.
Furthermore, Divine Blessing is an author. She has written her book entitled “The Amazing Life of The Divine Blessing” She is also a missionary as well as a gospel singer. One of her children is now a Doctor, a Social Worker, Artist, Payroll Consultant, etc. God has blessed Divine beyond her expectations.
As of now, we at Divine Hope Centers operate in the Democratic Republic of Congo with the strong intent of going international. Vulnerability, conflicts, poverty, and backwardness are some of the major problems confronting orphans and single mothers. No one speaks for them, no one defends them. Hence the resolve to assist these less privileged people to overcome some of these challenges.
We strive to meet the needs of poor single mothers and orphans according to our capacity. This hope and encouragement are geared towards skill training, right awareness, sponsorship, legal assistance, financial aid etc.
We are motivated to provide assistance and care to those in need of support through education, nourishment, spiritual awareness, clean water and encouraging them to keep hope alive by not losing heart no matter the condition at hand.
